A couple of our girls go to join one of our stallions!

Vickie Narolski has one of our homebred stallions, a gorgeous palomino son of KLR Reflection out of Ima Cool Success. She came for a visit and took home Miss Favorite Sabre to keep him company, and a two year old palomino filly by Sierras Super Star out of Etta Success to keep her busy with training this spring! Sabre is one of two full sisters we've owned to the AQHA Versatility Horse of the Year, Favor Mr. Sabre. The other, Sindy Sabre, is still available for sale and can be seen on our sale page.

Congratulations to Vickie on her two new girls.

Also off to a new home is Polish Daze, a little Thoroughbred filly we acquired by the Danzig son Polish Gift. Dazey went home this week with Jennifer Waters. She has a busy future of Pony Club competitions to look forward to! Congratulations, Jennifer.

Another weekend, and some more new homes!

Zippin Friday, one of our broodmares, is going home with Brenda Baum. As you can see, she knew that being adorable with Brenda's young daughter was the ticket to a life full of carrots and nose kisses! Friday is going to learn to be ridden - at age 18 - and will be bred to Brenda's APHA stallion this spring. Brenda also purchased "Harmony," a two year old palomino filly by Sierras Super Star out of And I'm Worth It. We love seeing our horses go to homes like these!

Our last member of the 2003 foal crop left the nest as well. My Fancy Reflection, by KLR Reflection out of our top producer Etta Success, went to Robyn Larimer. Robyn reports that she took Fancy on her first trail ride and she was wonderful. That does not surprise us a bit, as this filly has always been one that you could let sit in the field for months and then hop right on and ride anywhere. She is just a naturally bombproof personality that would never waste the energy required to act up! Congratulations to Fancy and happy trails to you two!

Finally, Penny Gill, who purchased Cagey's Fancy Miss, decided to also take home GCF Pretty Miz Kitty, one of our recent rescues, to become a 4-H horse. Her friend RJ purchased Quick Glory, our 17 hand Thoroughbred mare. He will be breeding Gloria to an Andalusian stallion this spring for a 2009 foal.

Jackie has a new home

Congratulations to Penny Gill on her purchase of Cagey's Fancy Miss, AKA "Jackie." Jackie is one of the sweetest mares in the world and she's got a pedigree to die for - how many granddaughters of Two Eyed Jack and Blondy's Dude are still out there? Jackie earned five AQHA halter points herself and is the dam of two ROM earners. We have often seen horses "choose" their new owner and this was no exception - Jackie followed Penny around the field as though she thought she could just climb in the car trunk and go home with her today! We're very excited this grand old girl has found such a loving and knowledgeable home to spend her golden years.

New homes for two more of our horses

Due to some health issues and just getting older, we have decided to downsize our operation to just a handful of our favorite mares. Those mares are off the web site now - what you see here is all for sale and we're hoping to find some great new homes for many of them this winter and spring.

"Fuji," a two year old palomino filly by KLR Reflection out of Zippin Friday is going home with Connie and Chloe Kuenzel. They already have an older gelding out of Zippin Friday and they love him so Fuji was a natural choice to join their family. She has always been one of our sweetest and most people-oriented fillies and we know her new family is going to enjoy her as much as we did.

Pictured last May, as a yearling with - as you can see - a lot of growing left to do!

Big Yellow Caddi, also pictured last May, is a three year old buckskin stallion by KLR Reflection out of Sindy Sabre (full sister to Favor Mr. Sabre, earner of over 2000 AQHA points and AQHA versatility horse of the year). He is already 16.2 at the hip and he's still growing! "Cecil" won't have many rainy days in his future - he is heading for Southern California next month with Cathy Atkinson. She is going to start him under saddle this spring and over fences next year. Cecil has an amazing disposition and free jumps like he's in an AQHA working hunter class, so we're very excited to watch his future career.

Check out the web site - we have many more we'd like to find new homes for. Terms are possible on some. Just e-mail or give us a call at 360-400-2486.
